A Combi Double Stroller is a stroller that has separate seats for two infants. This could be a toddler and a baby or twins or both. The exact layout does dictate which would be the most suitable for the children concerned.
The layout of a combi double stroller can be either a tandem where one seat is in front of the the other, or side-by-side. The benefit of the tandem is that it can more easily fit through doorways but can be heavier. The side-by-side model can be more compact when folded but can’t go through most doorways. Also, the side by side model, often can’t fit easily on pavements or sidewalks.
A tandem stroller which is excellent value is the Graco Quattro Tour Duo. This can be folded down with one hand, has a two position handle which is great for mom and dad, a three-position back seat including full recline, a large drop-down basket and parent’s storage and a cupholder
If you have 2 children of the same age then the Out N About Nipper 360 Double which has a 360 degree swivel front wheel, fully reclining seats , pneumatic tyres. This is a side by side double stroller which is really very easy to manouvre.
If you are looking for a great buy, then the Phil&Teds Dash Inline is suitable for twins and children of different ages, an excellent all rounder. This stroller can be turned into a combination of seating required. Although it is not cheap, children find it very comfortable. It comes with a large shopping basket, is excellent over uneven ground and can fit through shop doorways.
Ultimately, whe buying a stroller for two childre, you do need to think about what you need compared to what you would ike to have. The key points to think about are ease of use, weight of the stroller, ability to fit into the car / house, the type of wheels, handle height and the age of your children. Think wisely and you will spend well.
